Collins Barracks Dublin is a 17 minute walk from the Irish Potato Famine Exhibition in the Stephens Green Shopping Centre. Originally built as a military barracks, Collins Barracks Dublin dates back to the late 17th century, making it one of the oldest military installations in Europe. Construction began in 1702, designed to house the British Army in Ireland.
